In August 2006 we spent a few days at the Madinat Jumeirah complex in Dubai,we returned in May 2007 to celebrate my fiftieth birthday.
The Madinat is a quite astonishing resort comprising five hotels including the iconic Burj Al Arab, connected by four kilometres of waterways.
Bizarrely I reckon that more than 90% of photos taken by guests at the Madinat Jumeirah are photos of the hotel complex, and I confess I’m the same.
